Post 24 Abby

My grandpa has a wiener dog named Abby, and he asked me to crochet him a copy of her. This was one of my hardest projects so far. The head, tail, and ears were made separately; I had to figure out how to attach them to the body. One leg is raised up because I winged the belly after the instructions stopped being useful. The body was particularly difficult because I didn't start with a magic ring and had to go row by row instead of in a spiral.

While I'm snowed indoors,  I'm making a hat for my boyfriend. As you can see in the photo, I overestimated the size of his head. After some trial and error, I finally got the hat to fit and am going to try to embroider moss on it. Post 9 But why?

To get outside of my comfort zone, I decided to attempt to animate a short video for today's blog post. I used 2D pencil and pretty much winged the entire thing (pun intended). I was inspired by a meme I saw on Instagram.  Despite the video only being a few seconds long, it took me a very long time to create it. I have a greater respect for animators now.
