ADV 1321 Blog

    I was eating at Arnold during the snowstorm and was inspired by origami. After failing to make a napkin swan, I decided it looked more like a dragon and created different characters to fight it. If you look closely, the little prince is holding a sword, and the dragon is breathing out dark brown fire. See below for a summary of the scene:       Princess: NOOOOO      D ragon: BLAUGHHHH      Prince: oh shit

   I don't know how to draw, so I googled a reference photo of Denji from Chainsaw Man and winged the whole thing. For my tools, I used whatever was in my pencil case, including pencils, highlighters, and a pen. I didn't have a red marker, so I improvised and used my red lipstick. It turns out lipstick is really good at looking like blood lol. I'm really happy with how it turned out! 

While I'm snowed indoors,  I'm making a hat for my boyfriend. As you can see in the photo, I overestimated the size of his head. After some trial and error, I finally got the hat to fit and am going to try to embroider moss on it.
